Reflections – Award of Excellence for Dance & Photography:
MOE had two students who won this award at the county level and advanced to the district competition.

Reflections – Award of Merit for Dance & Photography:
MOE had three students who earned this county level award.

Florida PTA Awards

2010 – 2011 School Year:

State PTA Lifetime Membership:
Marilyn Smith was honored for meritorious and outstanding
service on behalf of children and youth.

2009 – 2010 School Year:

State PTA Lifetime Membership:
Patricia Carson was honored for her extraordinary support of
MOE PTA.

State PTA Volunteer Award:
MOE PTA was among 53 PTAs across the state honored with a
Volunteer Award.

National PTA Outstanding Advocacy Award:
The Florida PTA received this honor for their advocacy efforts
in rallying parents and legislators to stop a proposed reduction
in education funding.

Thank you to everyone who sent one of the 3,000 protest
letters and attended the rally at the state capitol steps.
